Mason Zetina-Cabaong, honored Dean’s List Student attends Jackson State University and was a recipient of the JASPSF scholarship in 2023. He was able to purchase books as a result of the scholarship he received. Mason states, “It was a great help to me and my family. I appreciate the generous support and l look forward to applying again in the future.”

I want to thank the JASPSF for their support of my future ambitions and endeavors. In the fall I will be attending Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA majoring in sports journalism, media and communications with a minor in business administration focusing on marketing.  My long term goal is to earn a job with the NFL, ESPN, NBA or professional sports media company as a sports analyst covering major sporting events and news working in communications or an area related to business administration/marketing.

Planning to major in Public Policy, Caitlin’s aspirations are leaning towards one day becoming an advisor / administrator under the White House’s Chief of Staff.
